Throwback Thursday: EBTG – Missing
I’ve gone with ‘Everything but the Girl – Missing’ this week because it reminds me of some very good times in school. Not that I like to go back and revisit my past too much, but it’s nice for nostalgia.
This song reached the great heights of number 69 back in 1994, but the Todd Terry remix got it to number 3 the next year. The version on my blog is that very remix, enjoy.

Mini Macro
I quite like it when it’s been raining and then the sun comes out. I was standing in the garden when I spotted the leaves of a plant (no one knows the name of) looked really nice with big raindrops on them. So, I got the camera out and took a few snaps. A fly also decided to stop and model for me, too. I’d like to thank that fly, possibly one of the best models I have ever worked with! Anyway, here are the best shots I pulled off.
Throwback Thursday: The Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony
It’s that time of the week again! This week I’m going for the Verve and Bitter ‘Sweet Symphony’ which got to number 2 in 1997. When it was around, I don’t think I really appreciated it that much, but now I realise it’s a great song, with a great video.
Some extra info: Apparently, because a sample of a Rolling Stones song was used in ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ the Verve were sued and the Rolling Stones subsequently own all the royalties to the song.

Do You Want Some Cake?
Unfortunately, I don’t have any. I did, however, work with a charity based in Birmingham called G:up to create a CD interface for a resource CD they were putting together. I’d never made an auto run CD before, so that was interesting to work out, although not that difficult to achieve. It just makes it easier for people to access a lot of useful resources provided on the CD.
